UV Photocatalytic Oxidation Deodorizing Equipment is an advanced environmental protection device designed to efficiently remove malodorous gases,volatile organic compounds(VOCs),and harmful substances from the air.By integrating high-energy UV light technology and photocatalytic oxidation principles,it achieves deep purification through chemical reactions,converting pollutants into harmless substances without secondary pollution,making it widely applicable in industrial production,environmental governance,and public places.

Working Principle

The core of the equipment lies in the synergistic effect of dual-band UV light(254nm and 185nm)and photocatalysts(such as nano-TiO₂),which realizes multi-stage purification of malodorous gases through three key steps:

1.UV Photolysis Chain Scission:High-energy UV light beams irradiate malodorous gas molecules(such as hydrogen sulfide,ammonia,mercaptans,benzene series,and VOCs),breaking their chemical bonds and cracking macromolecular pollutants into small-molecule fragments.At the same time,185nm UV light decomposes oxygen molecules in the air into reactive oxygen species(free oxygen),which further combines with oxygen molecules to generate ozone(O₃)—the reaction formula is UV+O₂→O⁻+O*(reactive oxygen species),O+O₂→O₃(ozone)[3][9].

2.Photocatalytic Deep Oxidation:Under the excitation of UV light,the nano-photocatalyst on the inner wall of the equipment generates hydroxyl radicals(·OH)with strong oxidizing properties.These radicals,together with ozone,conduct chain reactions with the cracked small-molecule fragments,thoroughly oxidizing them into harmless substances such as carbon dioxide(CO₂)and water(H₂O).

3.Sterilization and Deodorization:The high-energy UV light also breaks the molecular bonds of bacteria in the malodorous gases,destroys their nucleic acid(DNA),and then further oxidizes them through ozone,achieving the dual effects of deodorization and sterilization simultaneously.

Technical Features

-High Deodorization Efficiency:It can effectively remove major pollutants such as VOCs,inorganic substances,hydrogen sulfide,ammonia,and mercaptans,as well as various malodorous odors.The deodorization efficiency can reach more than 90%,and even up to 90%in some scenarios,which far exceeds the national odor pollutant emission standard(GB14554-93)and the comprehensive atmospheric pollutant emission standard(GB16297-1996).

-No Additional Chemicals Required:Only corresponding exhaust pipes and exhaust power need to be set up to make the malodorous gases pass through the equipment for decomposition and purification,without adding any chemicals to participate in the chemical reaction,avoiding secondary pollution caused by chemical agents.

-Strong Adaptability:It can adapt to the deodorization and purification treatment of high-concentration,large-air-volume,and different types of malodorous gases.It can work continuously for 24 hours a day with stable and reliable operation.The equipment can work normally in an environment with a temperature of-30℃to 95℃,a humidity of 30%to 90%,and a pH value of 2 to 13,without special pretreatment such as heating or humidification.

-Low Operation Cost:The equipment has no mechanical movement,low noise(≤45dB),and no need for special personnel management and daily maintenance,only regular inspection is required.It has low energy consumption—only about 0.2 kWh of electricity is consumed per 1000 cubic meters of gas treated per hour,and the equipment resistance is extremely low(≤300Pa),which can save a lot of energy consumption of exhaust power.
