UV Photocatalysis Oxidation Equipment
UV Photocatalysis Oxidation(UVPCO)Equipment is a high-efficiency,energy-saving and environmentally friendly industrial waste gas purification device,which is widely used in the treatment of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)and malodorous gases in various industries.It adopts advanced photocatalytic oxidation technology,realizing thorough purification of waste gas at room temperature without high-temperature combustion or chemical additives.
The core components of the equipment mainly include high-energy UV ultraviolet lamps,TiO₂photocatalyst modules,air distribution plates,and exhaust fans.The UV lamps(with main wavelengths of 253.7nm and 185nm)provide the energy required for photocatalysis,while the TiO₂catalyst acts as the core reaction medium.When the waste gas passes through the catalyst module under the action of the exhaust fan,it is irradiated by UV light,and the catalyst is activated to generate highly oxidative active radicals(·OH,·O₂⁻),which can quickly decompose the chemical bonds of organic pollutants and mineralize them into harmless CO₂and H₂O.
This equipment is especially suitable for low-concentration,medium-small air volume waste gas treatment,and is widely applied in printing,painting,coating,plastic processing,rubber production,food processing,and sewage treatment plants.It not only effectively removes harmful gases but also achieves simultaneous deodorization and sterilization,ensuring that the exhaust gas meets national emission standards.
To ensure the stable and efficient operation of the equipment,several key points need to be noted:first,the UV lamps should be inspected and replaced regularly(usually every 8,000-10,000 hours)to avoid reduced irradiation intensity affecting purification effect;second,the TiO₂catalyst module needs regular cleaning to prevent dust and oil mist from adhering to the surface,which may lead to catalyst deactivation;third,the equipment should be operated in a well-ventilated environment,and the air volume should be adjusted according to the actual concentration of waste gas to avoid overload operation;finally,a small amount of ozone may be generated during operation,so it is recommended to equip a tail gas ozone decomposition device to ensure safe emission.
