What Materials Are Used for Dust Collector Filter Bags?

Dust collector filter bags are made from a variety of synthetic and fiberglass materials,each designed to handle specific temperatures,chemicals,abrasion,and dust types.Below are the most common filter bag materials used in industrial baghouses.
1.Polyester(PET)
The most widely used and cost-effective filter media.
Temperature range:≤130°C(266°F)
Good abrasion and acid resistance
Suitable for general industry:woodworking,cement,mining,feed,grain
2.Polypropylene(PP)
Excellent for corrosive and moist environments.
Temperature range:≤90°C(194°F)
Strong acid and alkali resistance
Ideal for chemical,fertilizer,and wastewater treatment industries
3.PPS(Polyphenylene Sulfide)
High-temperature and chemical-resistant media.
Temperature range:≤190°C(374°F)
Good hydrolysis resistance
Widely used for coal-fired boilers,waste incineration,and power plants
4.Aramid(Nomex/Conex)
Heat-resistant and high-strength material.
Temperature range:≤200°C(392°F)

Excellent fine dust capture
