How to Install Air Receiver Tank Matching with Electromagnetic Pulse Valve

The air receiver tank is the supporting air storage component for electromagnetic pulse valves.It provides stable compressed air for pulse injection,balances air pressure,and ensures continuous and powerful jetting of the pulse valve.Reasonable installation of the air tank directly affects the ash cleaning effect,air tightness and overall service life of the whole dust removal system.Improper installation will lead to insufficient air pressure,air leakage,unstable valve operation and frequent failures.The detailed installation steps and key precautions are as follows.

Installation Steps

Pre-installation preparation and inspection

Before installation,check whether the size,thickness and interface specification of the air receiver tank match the electromagnetic pulse valves.Ensure the tank body is free of deformation,corrosion and welding cracks.Clean welding slag,rust,dust and impurities inside and outside the air tank to prevent foreign matters from entering the valve body and blocking the internal passage.Meanwhile,confirm the number of mounting holes corresponds with the pulse valve arrangement.

Fixed positioning installation

Install and fix the air receiver tank on the bracket of the dust collector body.Keep the tank horizontally placed with stable support.Tighten the fixing bolts evenly to avoid uneven stress and deformation of the tank body.Reserve enough space around the air tank for later maintenance,valve disassembly and pipeline connection.

Connect electromagnetic pulse valves to the air tank

Install the pulse valves on the reserved air outlet holes of the air tank in sequence.Install sealing gaskets between the valve flange and the tank interface.Fasten the connecting bolts uniformly and moderately.Do not apply excessive force to prevent thread sliding and flange deformation.Ensure each interface is tightly sealed to avoid air leakage.

Connect air supply pipeline

Connect the external air compressor pipeline to the air inlet of the air receiver tank.Install air filter,water separator and pressure regulating valve on the air inlet pipeline.This can filter oil,water and dust in compressed air and stabilize input air pressure.Keep the main air pipeline smooth and reduce excessive bending.

Drainage pipeline installation

Install a drain valve at the lowest bottom of the air receiver tank.Condensed water generated inside the air tank can be discharged regularly,which effectively prevents water vapor from entering pulse valves,corroding diaphragms and blocking internal small holes.

Pressure test and commissioning

After all connections are completed,slowly input compressed air and adjust the working pressure to the standard range.Conduct pressure maintaining test to check air leakage at all interfaces.Then start pulse injection test to verify that each pulse valve works stably with sufficient air output.

Installation Precautions

The air receiver tank must be installed horizontally.Inclined installation will cause uneven air pressure distribution and poor jetting effect of partial pulse valves.

Sealing gaskets must be installed at all connecting interfaces.Missing or damaged gaskets will cause serious continuous air leakage.

The tightening force of bolts shall be uniform during installation.Partial over-tightening will crack the flange and damage the valve body.

The air supply pressure shall be controlled within the rated range of the air tank and pulse valve.Over-high pressure will bring safety hidden dangers to the air tank.

Regular drainage of the air tank is necessary.Accumulated water inside will accelerate diaphragm aging and internal corrosion of pulse valves.

Keep the distance between adjacent pulse valves reasonable to avoid mutual interference during high-frequency injection.

Avoid heavy extrusion,impact and external force damage on the air tank body during construction.
