UV Light Oxygen Photooxygen Catalytic Equipment is an advanced air purification device based on Advanced Oxidation Processes(AOPs),widely recognized as a mainstream solution for treating low-concentration Volatile Organic Compounds(VOCs)and malodorous gases in industrial scenarios.By integrating the synergistic effects of UV photolysis and catalytic oxidation,this equipment achieves the mineralization of pollutants rather than simple transfer,converting harmful gases into harmless substances without secondary pollution,thus playing a crucial role in environmental protection and industrial emission control.
The core working mechanism of the equipment relies on the dual collaboration of photolysis chain scission and catalytic deep oxidation.Firstly,high-energy UV lamps inside the equipment emit dual-wavelength ultraviolet light(185nm and 254nm).The 185nm UV light decomposes oxygen molecules in the air into active oxygen atoms,which further combine to form ozone(O₃),a strong oxidant.Meanwhile,the 254nm UV light directly bombards the chemical bonds of waste gas molecules,cracking large organic molecules into small molecular fragments,laying the foundation for subsequent deep purification.
In the catalytic oxidation stage,nano-scale photocatalysts(typically titanium dioxide,TiO₂)loaded on the inner wall or filling layer of the equipment are activated under UV irradiation.This activation generates highly oxidizing hydroxyl radicals(·OH)and superoxide anion radicals,which initiate chain reactions with the small molecular fragments produced by photolysis and ozone.Eventually,organic pollutants are completely oxidized into carbon dioxide(CO₂)and water(H₂O),while ozone is reduced to oxygen,ensuring no secondary pollution.
Compared with traditional waste gas treatment technologies such as RTO(Regenerative Thermal Oxidation)and spray towers,this equipment boasts distinctive engineering advantages.It adopts a fully dry operation mode,requiring no chemical agents,thus producing no waste water or residue,which simplifies operation and maintenance and reduces the cost of hazardous waste disposal.With a low system wind resistance(usually<400Pa),it significantly lowers fan energy consumption.The modular design allows flexible assembly according to air volume,making it particularly suitable for installation in narrow spaces such as workshop roofs or between pipelines.
This equipment demonstrates excellent adaptability to the working environment,operating stably within a temperature range of-30℃to 90℃and a humidity range of 30%to 90%without complex pre-treatment of temperature and humidity.It features fast start-up,realizing immediate use after switching on,which greatly improves work efficiency.In terms of purification effect,it achieves a removal rate of over 90%for benzene series,hydrogen sulfide,ammonia and other malodorous substances,fully meeting national emission standards.
It is widely applied in various industries,including painting,printing,pharmaceutical manufacturing,chemical industry,sewage treatment plants and garbage transfer stations,effectively treating VOCs and malodorous gases generated in production and operation.However,it should be noted that the equipment is mainly suitable for low-concentration and large-air-volume waste gas;for high-concentration waste gas,pre-treatment devices such as activated carbon adsorption are required.In addition,it is strictly prohibited to treat waste gas containing high-concentration dust or oil mist,which may cover the quartz sleeve of the lamp and the catalyst surface,leading to equipment failure.
The long-term stable operation of the equipment depends on regular maintenance.The effective service life of UV lamps is usually 8000-12000 hours,and regular inspection and replacement are necessary to avoid reduced purification efficiency due to light intensity attenuation.The quartz sleeve should be cleaned with absolute ethanol every 1-3 months to maintain UV transmittance.The catalyst can be regenerated or replaced every 2-3 years to ensure its activity.
