Square Knife Gate Valve

Square knife gate valve is a heavy-duty industrial on-off valve with square flow passage and thin blade gate structure.Different from conventional round-bore knife gate valves,its integral square body and square gate optimize flow channel for bulk solid particles,powder,slurry and fibrous media.With strong cutting capacity,anti-clogging design and stable sealing performance,it is widely adopted in bulk material conveying and harsh industrial pipeline systems.

Working Principle

Driven by handwheel,electric actuator or pneumatic actuator,the square gate performs vertical linear lifting movement inside the square valve cavity.The sharp beveled edge of the gate can smoothly cut off fibers,massive particles and viscous attachments during closing process.The full square straight-through flow channel ensures unobstructed medium circulation during opening,and effectively avoids material accumulation and valve jamming.The compact internal structure realizes tight shutoff and reliable flow interception.
