Electric Knife Gate Valve
Electric Knife Gate Valve is an industrial automated shut-off valve that employs an electric actuator to drive a sharp,blade-like gate for vertical linear movement,perpendicular to the fluid flow direction.Designed specifically for challenging media containing solids,fibers,or slurries,it provides reliable on/off control with exceptional cutting and anti-clogging capabilities.
Working Principle
The core component is a thin,beveled-edged gate driven by an electric actuator.Upon receiving an electrical signal(AC 220V/380V or DC 24V),the actuator's motor converts rotational motion into linear force via a gear reduction system.This lifts or lowers the gate to fully open or close the flow path.The sharp gate cleanly severs fibrous materials and cuts through thick,particle-laden media,preventing the valve from jamming.
