Stainless Steel Filter Bag Cage
A Stainless Steel Filter Bag Cage(also called Stainless Steel Dust Collector Cage)is a high-end,corrosion-resistant supporting framework designed for filter bags in industrial baghouse dust collection systems.Crafted from premium stainless steel alloys,it delivers exceptional durability,high-temperature resistance,and anti-corrosion performance,making it the ideal choice for harsh and demanding industrial dust removal environments where ordinary galvanized or carbon steel cages fail to meet requirements.
Core Functions
As the core inner support of filter bags,it maintains the full expansion of filter media under negative pressure,effectively preventing bag collapse,sagging,or deformation during long-term operation.It ensures the maximum effective filtration area is retained,guaranteeing stable airflow and consistent dust collection efficiency.
The smooth,burr-free surface of the stainless steel cage minimizes friction and abrasion between the framework and filter bags,significantly extending the service life of the filter media.It perfectly cooperates with pulse-jet cleaning systems,allowing the filter bag to flex freely,shed accumulated dust quickly,and rebound to its original shape instantly—ensuring efficient and thorough cleaning.
Material&Alloy Options
Made of high-quality stainless steel with excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance,the base material is selected according to different working conditions:
-304 Stainless Steel:The most commonly used option,offering good corrosion resistance,oxidation resistance,and temperature resistance(up to 800°F/427°C).Suitable for general corrosive,high-humidity,and medium-temperature industrial environments.
-316 Stainless Steel:Features superior corrosion resistance,especially against acidic,alkaline,and salt-containing media.Ideal for chemical,pharmaceutical,and marine-related dust removal scenarios.
-316L Stainless Steel:Low-carbon stainless steel,with enhanced corrosion resistance and weldability.Suitable for harsh environments with strong corrosive gases or liquids,and high-temperature applications(up to 850°F/454°C).
No additional surface treatment is required—stainless steel’s inherent properties provide long-term protection against rust,corrosion,and oxidation,eliminating the risk of coating peeling or zinc layer loss.
Structural Features
Adopts precision spot welding or argon arc welding technology,ensuring firm connections,high overall rigidity,and no welding burrs.The structure consists of vertical longitudinal wires and evenly spaced horizontal reinforcing rings,with standard longitudinal wire quantities ranging from 6 to 24.
The reasonable spacing of horizontal rings enhances radial strength,preventing the cage from bulging or deforming under strong airflow impact.The top is designed with a standard flange or venturi nozzle(optional)to optimize pulse-jet cleaning efficiency,while the bottom is reinforced to protect the lower end of the filter bag.All sizes(diameter:80–200mm,length:1–6m)can be fully customized to match various baghouse models and filter bag specifications.
