Silo Top Bag Filter

The Silo Top Bag Filter is a high-efficiency dust removal and pressure balance equipment specifically designed for installation on the top of powder storage silos,such as cement silos,fly ash silos,and grain silos.It plays a crucial role in environmental protection and silo safety,widely applied in construction materials,chemical industry,grain processing,metallurgy,electric power and other fields.

Its core functions include three aspects:first,dust filtration,which captures ultra-fine dust raised in the silo during pneumatic conveying or gravity feeding to prevent environmental pollution.Second,pressure balance,which maintains stable air pressure inside the silo,avoiding positive pressure caused by feeding or negative pressure due to discharging,thus protecting the silo structure from damage.Third,air purification,which filters dusty gas and discharges clean air to meet environmental protection standards.

The working principle is simple and efficient.When materials are fed,air with dust flows upward into the filter.The air passes through the filter bags or cartridges,while dust is intercepted on the outer surface of the filter material.Clean air is then discharged through the filter bags.Equipped with a pulse jet cleaning system,the equipment regularly sprays high-pressure air into the filter bags to shake off the attached dust,which falls back into the silo,ensuring the filter bags maintain high-efficiency filtration for continuous operation.

The main structure consists of a shell,filter bags/cartridges,pulse cleaning system,rainproof top cover and air outlet.The shell is usually made of carbon steel or stainless steel,which is rainproof,dustproof and durable.The filter bags,the core component,are made of polyester fiber or coated filter material,featuring high temperature resistance,corrosion resistance and high filtration efficiency.The pulse cleaning system,composed of air bags,pulse valves and injection pipes,realizes automatic online cleaning.
