Pulse Jet Bag Filter
The Pulse Jet Bag Filter,also referred to as a pulse jet baghouse,is a highly efficient,self-cleaning dry filtration system that is the cornerstone of modern industrial air pollution control.It is designed to capture and remove fine particulate matter from exhaust gas streams,ensuring compliance with stringent environmental regulations and protecting both workplace safety and valuable product materials.
Operating on a robust two-stage principle—filtration and cleaning—the system begins as dust-laden gas enters the unit's lower section.Larger,heavier dust particles immediately fall into the hopper by gravity,while finer dust is carried upwards and trapped on the outer surface of the fabric filter bags.Clean air permeates through the filter media into the upper clean air chamber and is discharged.As dust accumulates,forming a dense cake,the system's PLC controller initiates the automatic pulse-jet cleaning cycle.High-pressure compressed air(0.4–0.6 MPa)is released in short,powerful blasts(0.1–0.2 seconds)through a series of pulse valves and nozzles.This induces a massive volume of secondary air,causing rapid bag expansion and vibration that violently dislodges the dust cake,which then falls into the hopper for removal.This online cleaning ensures uninterrupted,continuous operation.
Key components include the filter bags and cages,pulse valve system,air compressor,hopper,and PLC control panel.Filter bags are available in advanced materials like polyester,PPS,and PTFE-coated fabrics,engineered to withstand high temperatures,abrasion,and chemical corrosion.
