Offline Cleaning Baghouse
Offline Cleaning Baghouse(also called offline pulse jet bag filter or compartmentalized off-line baghouse)is a high-efficiency industrial dust collection and air pollution control system,characterized by its multi-compartment design that allows individual sections to be isolated(taken"offline")for thorough cleaning while the entire unit remains operational.It is the preferred solution for handling high-concentration,sticky,fine,or difficult-to-filter dust streams.
Core Working Principle
The system operates on a two-stage cycle:normal filtration and sequential offline cleaning.
Filtration Stage
Dirty,dust-laden gas enters the dust hopper at the bottom of the unit.
Larger particles fall into the hopper by gravity(pre-separation).
Finer dust is carried upwards and captured on the outer surface of the fabric filter bags.
Cleaned gas passes through the filter media into the clean air plenum and is exhausted.
Offline Cleaning Cycle(Triggered by pressure drop or timer)
Isolation(Offline):The damper/blast valve for a single compartment closes,cutting off all gas flow to that section.
Pulse Jet Cleaning:A high-pressure pulse of compressed air(0.4–0.6 MPa)is blasted into the top of the filter bags,causing rapid expansion and vibration that violently dislodges the dust cake.
Dust Settling:With no upward airflow,dust falls cleanly into the hopper without re-entrainment.
Restoration:The valve re-opens,and the compartment resumes filtering.The system cycles through all compartments sequentially.
